FIBO x HYROX Cologne 2026 Recap

PBs, podiums, and pure energy: Here’s our recap of the HYROX weekend in Cologne.

New flags, new PBs, a few bruises, and a whole lot of solid results. Yeah, that feels damn good. But if you know us, you know HYROX isn't just about chasing a ranking.

What really made Cologne stand out for us was the raw energy. Seeing people leave everything on the course—whether they were fighting for the podium or just proving to themselves that they wouldn't quit when the burpees got heavy and the sled wouldn't move. That’s the spirit we’re bringing to the floor at THE BACE in Stuttgart Mitte/Nord this August/September. We aren’t building a "mirror gym"; we’re building a place where work actually gets done.

Let the results speak for themselves. Julia and Raphaela both took 2nd place in their age groups—brutally strong, especially knowing how much work went into that prep.

And Jenny? She absolutely crushed it: 1st place in the Single Race in her AG. That’s coming off the back of a Mixed Double with Coach Dome just one day earlier, where they missed the podium by a hair. When you see our crew backing each other up after a grind like that, you realize: this is the foundation of what we’re building.

We didn’t just compete at FIBO; we used the time to get things moving. We’re currently finalizing deals for equipment, recovery tools, and the kind of gear you actually need after a brutal session in the box.

We aren’t building a cookie-cutter gym. We’re designing spaces where you train for real-world performance. Whether it’s hybrid training, strength work, or the right recovery tools for after the run—there’s something big in the works. We aren’t theorists; we’re coming straight from the floor at fit.str, so we know what works and what’s just hype. Keep your eyes peeled; we’ll drop more details on the opening soon.

Shoutout to everyone who flew the BACE flag in Warsaw and Malaga, too! You’re the engine that drives us.
